Starting Wage: $25-27 per Hour – Based on experience
About the Job:
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials and services.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, delivery timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Answer business calls and coordinate jobsite requirements with our sales team, regional manager, and project manager.
- Create schedules using Excel. Must be proficient with excel.
- Communicate all schedules and last-minute schedule changes with all our tradesmen and managers.
- Verify all service reports are submitted weekly from tradesmen.
- Data input payroll hours weekly. Must be proficient with basic math skills.
- QuickBooks experience preferred but willing to train.
- Issuing purchase orders and setting up account with vendors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong familiarity with ERP systems, MRP software, and demand planning tools.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build productive supplier relationships.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate across departments and with external vendors.
- High School Diploma.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate contractors and vendors in a large-scale industrial or mining environment.
- Must possess a valid “G” class license with the province of Ontario.
- Prior experience working in manufacturing or industrial settings is highly desirable.
