Position: Multifamily Residential Construction Electrician
Responsibilities:
- Supporting electrical installations by preparing materials, tools, and work areas.
- Observing and helping to interpret plans, diagrams, and drawings to understand wiring layouts.
- Assisting with the placement and connection of wiring, outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
- Participating in basic system checks to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Helping identify and address minor electrical problems, escalating more complex issues to senior staff.
- Following all safety protocols, maintaining a tidy workspace, and adhering to company and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Registration as an Apprentice or Journeyman in your jurisdiction
- Minimum 6 months experience in wood frame residential construction (multi-family preferred)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to mentor apprentices and help build a skilled team
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

- Rough-in and finishing of all aspects of a building
- Installation of fire alarms
- Install residential distribution panels
- General lighting installations
- Installation of electrical conduit slab work in parkades
