The Role
We are looking for a seasoned Restaurant Transformation Lead to conduct a thorough review of our existing operations, redesign our processes from the ground up, and stay on as a periodic strategic reviewer going forward. This is a part-time contract role with meaningful and lasting impact on our business.
What You'll Do
- Perform a complete audit of current Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) operations
- Review and restructure our authorization and approval workflows
- Evaluate and redesign our event operations process end-to-end
- Create new, clear, and practical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Guide and mentor our leadership team through the transition to new processes
- Conduct scheduled periodic reviews to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- 15+ years of hands-on restaurant operations experience (FOH and BOH)
- Prior experience in a senior leadership role — GM, Director of Operations, or equivalent
- Proven ability to design and implement SOPs in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Experience with event operations is a strong asset
- Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills
- Self-directed with the ability to deliver results independently
- Familiarity with Ontario food safety standards and restaurant compliance is an asset
