Overview
We are seeking a skilled Live-in Maintenance Technician Assistant Building Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper repair and maintenance of equipment and apartments suites. This role offers an opportunity to work and live in a well-maintained rental apartment complex in a desirable area of North York. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining safety, efficiency, and operations.
Duties
- Daily property clean up
- Repair and maintenance using hand tools and power tools
- Collaborate with other departments to address in suite and common area maintenance needs efficiently
- Respond to emergency repair requests
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities
- Routine inspections of machinery and equipment
Requirements
- Proven plumbing, carpentry and some electrical knowledge with experience in repairs
- Communicate effectively while strictly following company guidelines
- Prior experience in maintenance or a related field is required
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly

Pay: $18.94-$37.38 per hour
