Flexovit Canada Abrasives Ltd is seeking an energetic, proactive, and results-oriented Sales Professional for the province of Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Our preference would be that the successful candidate would be based or located in the Greater Montreal area and travel to other parts of the province and Atlantic Canada on a regular basis. Since the territory includes Quebec and Atlantic Canada the person must be bilingual (French and English). The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new prospect customers and cultivating new accounts while strategically collaborating with our partner distributors in cross-selling existing accounts.
The position will require at least 50% of travel
Key responsibilities will include:
- Initiate and follow up the sales process from initial contact phase to deal closure.
- Research and analyze sales options and identify business opportunities.
- Serve as point of contact for customers and answer service-related questions.
- Reach or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Generate new business opportunities within your existing clientele.
- Generate new business opportunities by making "Cold Calls".
- Develop and maintain productive and positive business relationships with all partner distributors, clients, and prospects.
- Work closely with marketing team to develop promotions for the territory.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager, report major opportunities to work on as well as reviewing sales monthly.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years sales experience focused on adding value to your customer's process.
- Excellent presentation and communication skill with proven persuasive power.
- First-rate computer skills, telephone etiquette, and work ethic.
- Able to work with people at all levels of an organization.
- Self-motivated with strong business acumen, good time management, and task prioritization skills.
- Proven ability to work "alone", must be dedicated and immersed in the work.
