Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PERSON to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, concrete work, and general construction practices. This role involves working on diverse projects including restoration, siding, framing, and finishing. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting, operating power tools and heavy equipment, and reading schematics and blueprints. Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project specifications accurately
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks to ensure durable and high-quality results
- Install siding, framing, and other exterior or interior building components
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct woodworking tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
- Engage in restoration projects that require precise craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for project completion
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for various construction tasks
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and related concrete work techniques
- Skilled in siding installation, carpentry, woodworking, and general construction practices
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment safely on job sites
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques
- Knowledge of restoration processes and materials used in building renovation projects
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship
