About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing general contractor in the Calgary market, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of ICI construction projects ranging from approximately $5M to $60M. This role will focus on commercial, institutional, and light industrial builds, managing multiple projects and teams across the full project lifecycle.
This is an opportunity to join a reputable builder with a strong pipeline of secured work and a track record of delivering quality projects across the Calgary market.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Lead full-cycle project management across ICI construction projects ($5M-$60M)
Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution from pre-construction through closeout
Manage and mentor Project Managers, Coordinators, and project teams
Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
Monitor financial performance including cost control, forecasting, and reporting
Identify and mitigate project risks while driving overall project strategy
Support business development efforts and contribute to repeat client work
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
8-15+ years of construction experience within ICI construction
Proven experience managing commercial, institutional, and/or light industrial projects in the $5M–$60M range
Strong leadership experience overseeing multiple projects and teams
Solid financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred

Competitive base salary, ranging from $120,000 to $160,000 + bonus structure
