Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Utilize commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility occupants.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning tasks and any maintenance issues.
- Assist in custodial duties for various facilities, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for specific cleaning tasks or maintenance needs.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
Skills
- Strong ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to cleaning.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with others.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely in a cleaning context.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining quality standards.
