Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hot Tub Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing hot tubs and related equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties
- Install new hot tubs, ensuring proper setup and connection of electrical and plumbing components
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, water testing, and chemical balancing
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to hot tub components such as pumps, filters, heaters, and jets
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for repairs and installations
- Maintain accurate records of service visits and repairs performed
- Assist with site preparation including excavation or landscaping as needed for installation projects
- Collaborate with clients to explain maintenance procedures and provide recommendations for optimal operation
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with experience working with plumbing, electrical systems, and water chemistry
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and installations
- Experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or construction is beneficial for site preparation tasks
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues efficiently
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks involving various construction-related skills
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in hot tub installation and repair
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to safety protocols during all operations
