We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Burnaby clinic, providing advanced aesthetic and medical aesthetic care within a supportive, high-performing team.
What You’ll Do
- Perform advanced non-surgical aesthetic treatments within NP scope, including injectable therapies, energy-based devices (laser, RF, ultrasound), and skin rejuvenation services, following physician-approved and NP-led protocols
- Conduct comprehensive medical aesthetic consultations including assessment, treatment planning, eligibility, contraindications, informed consent, and pre/post-care education
- Prescribe, administer, and manage injectable treatments as appropriate to scope and clinic protocols
- Provide clinical oversight and escalation support for nursing and laser teams as required
- Ensure meticulous documentation in EMR, including clinical notes, treatment parameters, photos, batch/lot numbers, and outcomes
- Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate closely with physicians, RNs, laser technicians, and clinic leadership to deliver a consistently exceptional patient experience
- Support quality assurance initiatives, protocol adherence, and clinical best practices within the clinic
What You Bring (Must-Haves)
- Current registration with BCCNM as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong clinical judgment with interest or experience in medical aesthetics
- Excellent consultation, assessment, and patient education skills
- Professional, confident presence with a calm approach in fast-paced environments
- High attention to detail in documentation, safety, and clinical standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort with EMR systems, clinical photography, and technology-driven practice
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a physician-led model
Nice to Have (Assets, Not Mandatory)
- Prior experience in medical aesthetics or cosmetic injectables
- Experience supervising or mentoring nursing staff
- Laser Safety certification
- Second language
- Advanced skincare, cosmetic, or wellness training
