Join the OCR Canada team, a Levata company, as a Bench Technician. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and refurbishing mobile and wireless technology equipment. This role plays an important part in supporting our customers by diagnosing issues, repairing devices, and ensuring equipment is restored to high operational standards.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair customer-returned devices and equipment.

Adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry and electronic components.

Perform testing on malfunctioning devices using diagnostic equipment and software.

Troubleshoot and repair devices down to the component level.

Solder and replace SMD components as required.

Disassemble and reassemble electro-mechanical devices including phones, tablets, and handheld devices.

Replace and upgrade internal hardware components.

Install operating systems and software on supported devices.

Refurbish pre-owned mobile devices and equipment for reuse and redeployment.

Utilize manufacturer resources and technical documentation to identify repair solutions.

Operate PC-based testing programs and accurately document repairs performed.

Maintain and update service management systems and repair records.

Support inventory tracking and service request order management.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Establish and maintain excellent relationships with Service, Operations, Warehouse, and Customer Support teams.

Collaborate with technicians, service coordinators, and leadership to support efficient repair operations.

Support customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate repairs and documentation.

Maintain communication regarding repair status, parts requirements, and outstanding service requests.

Contribute to operational efficiency through accurate inventory tracking and repair reporting.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Familiarity with Windows operating systems and hardware installation.

Previous experience repairing or troubleshooting electronic devices is considered an asset.

Technical education or related certifications considered an asset.
