What requirements will be expected
1. I will be expected to get/have a food safety certificate.

About BReD
We are a locally owned 100% plant-based organic sourdough bakery, that is heavily community involved.
We believe in high-quality & fresh ingredients. We make our own bread, cinnamon buns, cakes and cookies, everything fresh daily! This role also includes being able to make 100+ waffles to order and manage your own station, so commercial kitchen experience is essential.
We also believe in the team concept and working together. BReD wouldn’t be what it is today without an amazing team who work based on a shared set of core values!
We are offering opportunities for Bakers or Chefs who are interested in turning their hand to sourdough and other baking.

About the Role:
·Shifts are typically early (starting at either 4AM, 5AM or 6AM)
· Ongoing, on-the-job training - personal growth is important to the owners

The Perfect Candidate:
- Previous baking/kitchen experience is preferred.
- Genuine interest in vegan baking and delivery of delicious product on a daily basis
- High level of standards when it comes to food safety
- Team player mentality
- People person- the kitchen is open concept and sometimes customers get inquisitive of the operations
Responsibilities include:
· I will follow recipes and guidance of the Head Baker
· I will complete tasks in a timely manner
· I will monitor inventory levels of ingredients
· I will maintain overall cleanliness of kitchen
· I will pitch in where needed
· I will uphold food safety standards in the location at all time
· I will always show up on time, in clean and appropriate attire, and adhere to our grooming policy.
