Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Baristas and Servers at our new coffee shop cum sweet shop . This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using proper techniques and equipment.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring efficient service.
- Handle cash transactions, including cashiering and cash handling with accuracy.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
- Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety.
- Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, cups, utensils, and food items.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner to foster a positive experience and encourage repeat business.
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving or food preparation tasks when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
