Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Serve as a leader in the kitchen, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment
- Ensure all food handling procedures meet industry standards and safety protocols
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items to enhance customer experience
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive food preparation, cooking, and food service experience within the food industry
- Strong background in restaurant management or leadership roles in culinary environments
- Knowledge of food handling regulations, food safety practices, and kitchen operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage team members effectively and lead by example
- Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with serving standards and customer service excellence is advantageous
