Position Summary:
The Resident services coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the daily well-being, organization, and smooth operation of The Golden Years Estates. This position combines direct resident care with administrative and coordination responsibilities. The successful candidate will be compassionate, organized, professional, and capable of working independently while maintaining clear communication with management.
Responsibilities:
Resident Care & Support
- Attend to residents’ daily needs with dignity, respect, and compassion
- Provide hands-on resident care when required
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or mental well-being
Documentation & Reporting
- Write and maintain accurate progress notes for residents
- Complete reports as required in accordance with facility standards and policies
- Ensure all documentation is timely, detailed, and confidential
- Building care plans for individual residents
- Use of Microsoft office
Appointments & Medication Coordination
- Book and manage residents’ medical and personal appointments
- Coordinate transportation and appointment follow-ups as needed
- Order medications and ensure continuity of residents’ medication needs
- Keeping medication rooms are organized and clean
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate professionally with families, healthcare providers, and external services
- Report directly to the Manager with updates, concerns, and observations
- Support daily operations and contribute to a positive team environment
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in personal care, healthcare, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to resident care
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and strong work ethic
Pay: From $20.30 per hour
