Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and heavy equipment across various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and uphold company standards.
Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight, machinery, or materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch.
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability and safety compliance.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation duties.
- Maintain equipment in a clean and professional condition.
Skills
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Admissible to USA (FAST program enrolment preferd)
- Knowledge of freight handling, logistics, and transportation regulations.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and operate machinery safely. This position offers an opportunity for dedicated drivers to contribute to a dynamic logistics operation while ensuring safety and efficiency in every task performed.
Pay: $1,700.00-$2,400.00 per week
