As a Night Cleaning Attendant, you'll play a vital role in preparing our facility each day for the individuals and families who rely on the Y to support their health, well-being, and sense of community.
- Compensation: $19.05 per hour
- Paid vacation, wellness, and family responsibility days

- Annual Y pension of 5% (after 2 years)
- Reporting to: Manager, Housekeeping
- Location: H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre
- Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, overnight shifts

In this role, you will help create the environment that supports positive member experiences by maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, safety, and facility presentation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public, staff, and common areas throughout the facility.
- Complete daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks to ensure facility standards are consistently met.
- Monitor facility conditions and identify maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or operational issues requiring attention.
- Organize and prioritize cleaning responsibilities to efficiently meet shift expectations and operational requirements.
- Experience in custodial services, cleaning, facility maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while maintaining productivity.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive cleaning tasks.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License is an asset.
