We are hiring a Shipper Receiver at our Mississauga location for a 9:00am to 5:00pm shift.
This posting is intended to fill a current vacancy at Max Solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the shipping and receiving of products
- Move and organize products from the warehouse/production
- Check shipments against purchase orders or packing slips to verify accuracy
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation
- Ensure workplace is clean and organized
- Operate equipment safely and effectively
- Assist in the training of fellow warehouse employees
- Maintain and adhere to safety standards
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers and other departments to coordinate tasks, address issues and ensure smooth operations within the warehouse/production
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Demonstrate a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 year’s experience in a Shipping/Receiving environment
- Raymond Reach and Counterbalance certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum 30-50 lbs
- Mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work individually or in a team environment
- Valid work authorization in Canada ( work permit, permanent residency or Canadian citizenship)
- Experience working with warehouse software and systems
- Walkie ( electric pallet jack ) certification and experience
- Experience in a manufacturing and packaging environment
