This job performs physical labour unpacking and assembling boats and trailers including installing consoles, running engine control lines, mounting and rigging outboard motors, assembling trailers, low voltage electrical wiring, installing instrumentation, following drawings and other written and verbal instructions by performing the following duties:
- Installing motors on boats
- Read and follow drawings and diagrams
- Rigging steering and motor controls
- Running wiring
- Installing electrical equipment
- Unloading and loading equipment
- Assembling boat trailers
Experience working with outboard motors and the following skills will be beneficial:
- Ability to work independently
- Experience working with hand tools
- Ability to lift and move equipment
- Electrical knowledge
- Ability to follow drawings and instructions
- Understanding of mechanical assembly and fastening methods
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
