Shipper – Cold Warehouse | Food Manufacturing (Deli Salads)
Location: Arbutus Foods
Hours: Monday – Friday | 2 PM – 10 PM
Pay: $18 – $22 per hour
Arbutus Foods is a growing food manufacturing company producing products for major grocery retailers across Canada. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking shipper to join our team in a cold warehouse environment and help ensure orders are prepared and shipped accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack products accurately based on customer orders
- Build, wrap, and stage pallets for shipment
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Prepare orders for shipment and customer pick-ups
- Maintain accurate shipping records and inventory counts
- Communicate daily with management and team members
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Keep the shipping and warehouse area organized and clean
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Be comfortable working with numbers, counts, and order quantities
- Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Be a strong team player with good communication skills
- Be dependable and able to follow pick lists with precision
- Be flexible to stay later if orders require it
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Hold Food Safe Certificate (asset)
- Hold a valid Forklift Certification (required)
Previous warehouse or shipping experience in food manufacturing is an asset but not required.
