Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Cleaner to join our team in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant or hospitality establishment by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and experience in food service or hospitality settings.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, sinks, and workstations
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work
- Ensure all kitchen areas comply with health and safety standards
- Organize and store clean items properly for easy access by staff
- Support the overall cleanliness of the dining area and back-of-house spaces
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling
Requirements
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation or cooking experience is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting staff and guests
Pay: $17.60 per hour
