A division of Spruce It Up Garden Centre, Scape It Up Design & Construction provides high quality custom landscape design and installation to Calgary and the surrounding area. We are looking for a full-time Landscape Foreman to join our growing team for the spring/summer/fall months. Winter work will be given to the right candidate. Responsibilities:
- Lead crew of up to 3-5 people
- Read, follow and instruct others regarding designers construction plans
- Operate machinery such as skid steer, bobcat and mini excavator
- Drive truck and trailer to and from site and load machinery onto trailers
- Service equipment, keep trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion
- Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area, staying in frequent communication with workers
- Maintain a positive attitude and be a role model for the crew
- Communicate to project manager and site manager on a daily basis
Qualifications
- Hardscaping experience a major asset
- Must be able to carry 50 -100lbs and able to work outside in all weather conditions
- A clean valid Driver’s License is required with at least 3 years experience
- Strong leadership, communication and strong organization skills
