Golf Services Associate

Position Summary
The Golf Services Associate plays a key role in delivering an outstanding member and guest experience at OslerBrook Golf & Country Club. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of the golf facility. Duties include maintaining the practice facilities, managing club storage, preparing and maintaining the golf cart fleet, and ensuring all golf operations run efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
· Welcome members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
· Assist with golf bag drop, club cleaning, and loading/unloading equipment.
· Answer questions and provide information about club services and daily operations.
· Deliver a first-class experience by anticipating member and guest needs.
Golf Operations
· Assist with the opening and closing procedures of the golf operation.
· Ensure staging areas, first tee, and clubhouse entrance remain clean, organized, and presentable.
· Support the Golf Professional staff with daily operational tasks.
Practice Facility Maintenance
· Pick and wash driving range balls.
· Set up and maintain the driving range and short game areas, including tee markers, baskets, and target areas.
· Rotate hitting stations and replenish golf balls throughout the day.
· Maintain the putting and short game practice areas to club standards.
Club Storage
· Organize and maintain member club storage.
· Retrieve and return member golf bags promptly and carefully.
· Clean clubs before returning them to storage.
· Maintain an organized and secure storage facility.
Golf Cart Fleet Maintenance
· Clean, wash, and detail golf carts after each use.
· Charge and rotate carts to ensure fleet readiness.
· Perform daily inspections for cleanliness, damage, and battery condition.
· Report maintenance issues promptly to management.
Qualifications
· Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
· Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Ability to lift and carry golf bags (up to approximately 50 lbs).
· Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the golf season.
· Previous golf course or hospitality experience is an asset but not required.
