Vanguard FC is a fast-growing private soccer academy based in Hamilton, Ontario, dedicated to developing young athletes through a professional, high-intensity, and purpose-driven training environment.
Our coaching philosophy emphasizes technical mastery, game intelligence, and character development — preparing players to compete at the highest levels.
Position:
We are seeking certified soccer coaches who are passionate about player development and creating a positive, structured learning environment. Coaches will work with youth players ages 4–16 in small-group and team-based training sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate training sessions aligned with Vanguard FC’s curriculum and player development model.
- Foster a professional, safe, and motivating atmosphere for all players.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff.
- Ensure all activities comply with Club policies and safeguarding standards.
Attend occasional Club meetings, events, and development workshops.
Requirements:
- Valid NCCP Coaching Certification .
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check (VSC) — required prior to start.
- First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred, not mandatory — at least one certified staff member is always present on-site).
- Previous experience working with youth players (academy, school, or club).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Reliable transportation to Hamilton training venues.
Compensation:
- $25 - $30 per hour, bi-weekly pay schedule.
Schedule:
- Weekday evenings and weekend sessions (flexible scheduling).
Approximately 4–12 hours per week, depending on program assignments.
- Additional opportunities for progression, education, and Club leadership roles as Vanguard FC expands.
