POSITION TITLE: Maintenance Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Facilities/Maintenance Manager
SUPERVISES: Maintenance Associate and Maintenance Helper
POSITION SUMMARY: Coordinate the workflow within the maintenance department of the Distribution Center; Organize & direct tasks of Maintenance Lead Hands & Maintenance Associates, and provide support for Maintenance Manager as needed; Perform preventative maintenance and repairs in the Distribution Center as needed.

- Coach, develop and train Maintenance team to facilitate performance of maintenance duties; keep the distribution facility clean, safe and operational at all times

- Ensure customer service, quality and safety standards are met in an efficient and innovative manner; partner with all departments to address issues, where needed
- Administer company policies and procedures, while proactively partnering with Human Resources, where needed/required
- Utilize tools, resources and new experiences to advance own skills and proactively seek out feedback to identify development opportunities
- Promote and maintain high employee morale, customer focused attitude and safety. Ensure 100% compliance with all JSA’s, safety training material and safety communications
- Maintain safe work conditions and safe work practices
- In partnership with the Maintenance Manager, evaluate the training needs within the Maintenance department and assist in the training of associates in department procedures
- Direct work and calls to appropriate associates for repairs and Preventative Maintenance
- Obtain pricing and ordering of parts for the maintenance department when needed
- Entering new parts and equipment into the inventory system when needed
- Scheduling and entering of Preventative Maintenance tasks into the MP-2 system when needed
- Generate reports from the MP-2 maintenance software
- Render preventative maintenance and repairs on conveyor and material handling equipment
- Complete electrical diagnosis and repair
- Provide facility maintenance and repair
- Perform general construction
- Promote and conduct good housekeeping practices including 5S principles
- Perform other duties as assigned
- As needed, will assume the responsibilities of the Senior Qualified Person for Arc Flash policy
- Working knowledge of time management software – Kronos
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Industrial maintenance mechanic, skill trades or equivalent certificate, required
- Up to 2 years demonstrated leadership experience, required
- 5 years previous maintenance experience, required
- ARC Flash knowledge and experience, required
- Proficient in principles and implementation of 5S, required
- Programmable Logic Controller experience a plus
- MP-2 maintenance software experience a plus
- High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook and Internet applications
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, & planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work with and influence senior management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
- Flexibility to work all days and shifts, including overtime on request/as needed
