Bluebits Technologies is seeking a Bilingual Business Development Manager - English/French base in our North York, ON Officeto drive commercial growth by identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities in East Region.
This role is designed for a results-oriented professional who can build strong market relationships and turn them into measurable business outcomes. It is not a role focused solely on maintaining existing senior relationships. We are looking for someone who can actively generate pipeline, open doors, move conversations forward, and contribute directly to revenue growth and market expansion.
The ideal candidate is commercially driven, strategic, and execution-focused, with the ability to turn outreach, meetings, and partnerships into real business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across real estate, property management, government, logistics, and related sectors
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of prospective clients, partners, and strategic accounts
- Lead outreach, relationship development, proposal discussions, and follow-up efforts to move opportunities toward signed business
- Generate measurable business outcomes, including qualified leads, partnership opportunities, pilot projects, and closed deals
- Work closely with leadership to support revenue growth, market expansion, and go-to-market priorities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new commercial opportunities
- Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to align business development efforts with company capabilities and market demand
- Represent the company in meetings, networking events, industry discussions, and business development initiatives across Canada and the United States
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity, opportunity stage, conversion progress, and business development performance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sales, account growth, or related client-facing roles
- Proven ability to generate pipeline and deliver business results, not just maintain relationships
- Strong track record of developing opportunities from prospecting through negotiation and closing
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong commercial judgment and strategic thinking, with the ability to turn market insight into actionable growth plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders
- Experience in PropTech, IoT, real estate, logistics, or infrastructure-related sectors is considered an asset
- Bilingual ability : English and French Required; additional languages are an asset.
