As we are rapidly expanding our footprint in North America, we are looking for a Senior Consumer Data & Analytics Analyst to join our growing team in Toronto.
In this role, you will be hired by Converteo but exclusively dedicated to a strategic mission for a global leader in the beauty industry. The Role
Acting as a true bridge between technical teams (IT, Data Engineering) and business stakeholders (CRM, Marketing, Finance), you will ensure the quality, accessibility, and activation of consumer data. Your main responsibilities will include:
Data Operations & Analysis: Write advanced SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze complex consumer datasets using GCP and Databricks.
Reporting & BI: Build, automate, and maintain dashboards using PowerBI to provide actionable insights to business leaders.
Business-Tech Translation: Understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications for the Data Engineering teams, ensuring the architecture supports business use cases.
Data Quality & Governance: Proactively identify data anomalies and implement corrective actions within the data pipelines.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the client's business teams, providing them with technical reassurance and strategic guidance on data usage.
About You
Languages: Complete fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. The ability to communicate in French is considered a strong plus, given our regular interactions with teams in Montreal and Europe.
Experience: 4 to 5+ years of proven experience in data analytics, data operations, or business intelligence, ideally within the retail, CPG, or beauty industry.
Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, and hands-on experience with cloud data environments, specifically GCP and Databricks.
Consulting Mindset: You are a problem-solver, autonomous, proactive, and comfortable navigating complex environments. You know how to deliver "plug & play" solutions.
Mobility: You are based in the Greater Toronto Area and available to travel to Montreal for client meetings every 3 to 4 weeks (2-day trips).
What We Offer
Base salary of $90k - $100k CAD (commensurate with experience).
