Job Summary
The Building Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the facility, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all occupants. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, along with a solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and facilities management. The Building Manager will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise staff, and manage projects to enhance the building's functionality.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of building operations, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, and general maintenance.
- Manage and supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and managing maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks and projects as needed.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
- Lead project management efforts for renovations or upgrades within the facility.
- Provide training to staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role with supervisory experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding programmable logic controllers (PLC).
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and general building maintenance procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Pay: Up to $3,500.00 per month
