As our organization grows, so does the complexity of our legal, corporate, and executive operations. We're looking for an exceptional Law Clerk / Executive Assistant to work directly with our CEO, helping manage legal matters, corporate records, executive priorities, and high-impact projects.

The Role
This is a hybrid position combining legal administration with executive support.
You'll help coordinate contracts, corporate records, intellectual property, and legal correspondence while also supporting the CEO with scheduling, project coordination, and executive administration.
No two days are the same. You'll work closely with leadership, external lawyers, government agencies, customers, and partners to keep critical initiatives moving forward.
Responsibilities — Legal & Corporate
- Prepare, organize, and maintain corporate records for multiple companies
- Assist with contracts, NDAs, subcontract agreements, and legal correspondence
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation, employment, intellectual property, and commercial matters
- Track contract deadlines, renewals, and compliance requirements
- Organize board resolutions, corporate filings, and legal documentation
- Assist with trademark, patent, and intellectual property administration
- Maintain secure and well-organized legal files
Responsibilities — Executive Support
- Manage the CEO's calendar, meetings, and travel
- Coordinate executive priorities and follow up on action items
- Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and briefing materials
- Draft professional correspondence and reports
- Organize confidential documents and information
- Coordinate projects across multiple companies and departments
- Help ensure important initiatives stay on schedule
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Law Clerk, Paralegal Studies, Legal Administration, or a related field
- Experience as a Law Clerk, Legal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong judgment and ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following is considered an asset:
- Corporate law
- Commercial contracts
- Intellectual property administration
- Employment law
- Corporate governance
- Board and shareholder documentation
- Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Document management systems
- Project coordination
- Biotechnology, engineering, or manufacturing industries
AI-Native Workplace
We use Claude Code, ChatGPT, and other AI tools every day to accelerate legal research, contract review, document drafting, meeting preparation, and administrative workflows.
Candidates should be comfortable learning and using AI as part of their daily work and be excited about improving processes through automation.
