Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in HEAVEN SUSHI SAKE BAR. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations is beneficial.
- 1-year experience in similar position

- Has a full knowledge of all food and beverage items produced and sold from HEAVEN SUSHI SAKE BAR
- Ensures presentation of all food meets and exceeds HEAVEN's standards for freshness, appearance and consistency when running food
- Balance all cash and charges at the end of every shift and complete cash drops with supervisor in accordance to HEAVEN's protocol
- Protects the establishment by adhering to strict policies on serving alcohol
- Must be committed to maintaining high customer service standards
- On time for all shifts ready to work at scheduled times
