Who We Are:
Glenn Piotrowski Architect Ltd. is a 10-employee architecture and design practice located in Oakville, Ontario.
We have been practicing architecture for over 45 years. We do a variety of project types. Recently we have been involved with:
- 5 film production sound stages on Toronto’s waterfront.
- A 585,000 SF office and state-of-the-art parcel sort facility in Toronto that is the largest industrial project in Canada with Zero Carbon Building Standard designation.
- Multiple phased office, industrial, speculative, and purpose-built buildings in the GTA.
Our passion and motivation is to provide our clients with the highest level of service, expertise, and design based on parameters for the project.

Who we are seeking:
- Individuals that are organized, self motivated and interested in taking initiative and working alongside project leaders to deliver detailed and accurate work.
- Eager to learn, grow, and work well either within a project team or with individual tasks.
- Individuals with an academic architecture background.
- Background in architectural design and construction documentation.
- Start Date: June 2026
Qualifications & Qualities:
- Experienced in permit and construction drawings. Excellent working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Rendering skills with 3Ds Max or similar program is a plus.
- Knowledgeable and familiar with referencing and using the Ontario Building Code for drawing preparation and to communicate with clients, municipalities, and contractors.
- Knowledge of construction details, materials, methods, and descriptions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Speak well, draw well, and write well. Attention to detail, organization, and execution.
Duties/ What you will do:
- Assist Office Principals and Project Architects with the preparation of schematic designs/ drawings & presentation drawings, design development drawings, and construction documents.
- Drawing preparation in coordination with the Ontario Building Code, Code Matrices, SB-10 & SB-12 requirements, and ULC design information.
- Review shop drawings and assist project leads with RFI, SI, and Change Order documentation.
Salary Range:
$60,000 - $90,000 depending on skills and experience.
