Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Billing Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end billing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring billing accuracy, revenue integrity, reporting compliance, and exceptional internal and external customer support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and is passionate about process improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Billing & Revenue Operations
- Lead and manage the complete billing lifecycle to ensure accurate and timely invoicing
- Conduct regular billing audits to identify discrepancies, reduce revenue leakage, and implement corrective actions
- Perform monthly reconciliations and resolve billing variances efficiently
- Monitor payment collections and track/report potential write-off risks
- Prepare and complete CRTC and other government-related reporting requirements
Customer & Escalation Management
- Manage escalated billing concerns and customer disputes with professionalism and urgency
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless issue resolution and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a high level of service and communication with both internal and external stakeholders
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison between Sales, Accounting, Operations, and NOC teams
- Support process improvements, workflow optimization, and automation initiatives
- Ensure billing documentation, procedures, and SOPs remain accurate and up to date
Reporting & Analytics
- Deliver regular reporting and operational insights to leadership regarding billing performance and trends
- Analyze billing data to identify process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Support additional revenue operations and ad-hoc reporting projects as needed
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in billing operations, revenue operations, finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of billing processes, reconciliations, and revenue reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data validation
- Experience with Power BI, reporting tools, or query platforms is an asset
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline preferred
- Must reside within the Toronto/GTA region with the ability to commute to the Kipling office

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
