Mr. Pretzels is excited to announce that we are hiring for the summer season! We have 2 locations at the Calgary Stampede which are both super fun environments to work in. This comes with an opportunity to continue working with us at either Market, Chinook, or Southcentre Mall after the show based on your performance. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in creating delicious pretzels and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pretzels according to company recipes and standards.
- Serve customers with enthusiasm, providing information about menu items and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in food service or retail is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, with full availability for the Calgary Stampede.
- Willingness to learn, great attitude, team player, adaptable, and energetic.

Please read below before applying!
- You must be available for the whole duration of the 2026 Calgary Stampede. The dates are July 2-July 12 2026. This includes 2-3 mandatory training periods at a mall location after the interview in order to see good fit in preparation for the Stampede.
- You must have your own mode of transportation to and from the show.
- Be prepared to have 2-3 professional references which we can contact following your interview.
- Interviews will be done in person at a mall of our choosing.
- Contracts will be required to be signed to lock in your spot for the event and assure we have your full commitment!
- Experience is not necessary, but is an asset.
- We want individuals who are customer service oriented and you must know how to greet customers with a smile!
- Must be 18+
- We will provide training to suitable candidates in our locations before the show.
- We offer employees performance based bonuses at the end of the Stampede as well as tips.
- Based on your performance at the Stampede there will be opportunities to continue employment with us at one of our 3 locations in the city.
Customer service experience, cash handling experience, & food service experience will give your application an advantage.
