Structcon Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Site Coordinator to support ongoing commercial, residential, and concrete construction projects throughout the GTA. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction drawing interpretation skills, practical site experience, and proficiency in construction-related software and project coordination.
This position is well suited for an individual who can effectively bridge field operations and office coordination while supporting project execution, scheduling, documentation, and communication between project teams.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day site activities with supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents.
- Assist with project scheduling, material tracking, RFIs, site documentation, and progress reporting.
- Maintain organized project records, reports, inspection documentation, and correspondence.
- Support field teams with layout coordination, drawing revisions, and document control.
- Monitor site progress and assist in identifying potential conflicts or deficiencies.
- Attend site meetings and communicate project updates effectively.
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and applicable safety requirements.
- Assist with quantity take-offs, document markups, and coordination using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Procore, etc.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of construction site experience.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- Bluebeam Revu
- Microsoft (Word, excel, etc)
- Procore
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in concrete, formwork, ICI, or residential construction is considered an asset.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable transportation is a must.
Working Conditions
- Combination of site and office work.
- Must be comfortable working on active construction sites and moving between project locations within the GTA.
- PPE and adherence to Ontario Health & Safety requirements mandatory (Working at heights certifications, WHMIS, Ministry 4 Steps certifications an asset)
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage: $22.00 – $30.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
