Inside Sales Representative
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with potential and existing clients to promote our products and services, primarily through phone and digital communication channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and experience in sales environments. Fluency in English is preferred to effectively serve diverse client bases. The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in driving business growth through proactive outreach, relationship building, and strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate sales through phone calls, emails, and in-person customer interactions with prospective clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Manage inbound inquiries, providing detailed product information and solutions tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate terms and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement campaigns and identify new market segments.
- Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up on inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
- Provide product recommendations and solutions based on customer needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities.
- Assist with inventory inquiries and product sourcing including coordination with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Support business development efforts by identifying potential leads and expanding the customer base through strategic outreach.
- Perform local deliveries to customers as required and ensure orders are delivered accurately and professionally.
- Perform receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory when needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or business development roles.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and customer service principles.
- Previous sales, customer service, or inside sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
- Experience with QuickBooks or ERP systems is an asset.
- Knowledge of janitorial, cleaning, or industrial supplies is an asset but not required.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Must possess a valid Canadian work permit, permanent resident status, or Canadian citizenship.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
