Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Shop Hand to join our dynamic service and yard team. You will support our daily operations by preparing machinery, assisting with repairs, and keeping our yard organized. This is an active, hands-on role perfect for individuals who enjoy working with tools and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Assembly: Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and assemble farm machinery.
- Mower Assembly: Unbox, build, and prep zero-turn lawnmowers for the sales floor.
- Repair Assistance: Help technicians with basic trailer maintenance and structural repairs.
- Logistics: Safely unload incoming freight shipments and organize inventory.
- Yard Maintenance: Keep the shop and outdoor yard clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications & Skills
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and air tools.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual, self-motivated, and able to follow safety protocols closely.
- Experience: Previous experience in a shop, farm, or mechanical environment is an asset.
- Driver's License: A valid Class 5 driver's license is preferred.
