The Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to support our warehouse operations for a growing hospitality and restaurant group. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and food production tools that support multiple restaurant locations.
This position is critical to ensuring food safety, operational efficiency, and consistency across our restaurant network.
Cleaning & Sanitation:
- Wash and sanitize:
- Dishes, utensils, containers, and kitchen tools
- Food prep equipment and storage bins
- Ensure all items meet food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas
Warehouse Support:
- Assist with organizing clean equipment for distribution to restaurant locations
- Support receiving and sorting of returned kitchen equipment
- Maintain clean and orderly storage areas
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
- Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report hazards, damages, or maintenance needs to supervisors
Operational Support:
- Assist kitchen or warehouse team as needed during peak periods
- Support inventory organization and rotation of equipment
- Maintain efficiency and pace in a fast-moving environment
Qualifications:
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs
- Comfortable working in wet and warm environments
Compensation & Growth:
- Starting wage: Ontario minimum wage
- Wage review upon completion of probationary period, based on:
- Attendance and punctuality
- Work performance and productivity
- Adherence to safety and cleanliness standards
Schedule:
- Must be available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
- Overtime may be available based on operational needs
