Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Casual Certified Care Assistants (CCA). This role offers flexible scheduling to support the needs of our clients in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in providing high-quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities, fostering independence, comfort, and dignity. Prior experience in senior care or working with individuals with special needs is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position is perfect for those looking to make a positive impact while maintaining flexibility in their work schedule.
Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines and protocols
- Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any concerns to supervisory staff
- Support clients with activities of daily living in their homes or care facilities
- Follow care plans and document care provided accurately and timely
- Engage clients in recreational activities to promote mental stimulation and well-being
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is highly desirable
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or dementia care is a plus
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is preferred
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts based on client needs; availability for casual scheduling preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail
- Ability to pass background checks and any required training certifications
