Overview
We are seeking a motivated Residential Painter Helper to join our team and assist with a variety of painting and renovation projects. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in residential and commercial painting work. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and ready to contribute to high-quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment. Prior painting experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to develop necessary skills.
Duties
- Assist with surface preparation including sanding, caulking, and plastering to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Support the application of paint using hand tools, power tools, and airless spray equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Use hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and other equipment efficiently and safely
Experience
- Previous experience in construction is advantageous
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques and color theory principles is preferred
- Hands-on experience with commercial or industrial painting projects is a plus
- Knowledge of carpentry including trim carpentry installation enhances performance on job sites
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively; experience with airless paint spraying is desirable
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are necessary
- Construction site experience including working on renovation or remodeling projects is highly valued
