Join Our Team as a Crematorium Operator: No Experience Required.
Are you someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to support others during challenging times?
Southwest Crematoriums Ltd. operates multiple locations across Southwestern and Central Ontario. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Part Time possibly working into Full Time Crematorium Operator at our Bowmanville location.
Bowmanville will be one of 2 Eastern locations that you will be working at.
* No prior experience is necessary, as we will provide comprehensive training.
Planned Start Date : July 2026
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain cremation equipment following established procedures and safety protocols.
* Ensure the dignified and respectful handling of human remains.
* Keep accurate and detailed records of the cremation process and all related documentation.
* Communicate effectively with funeral providers.
* Maintain a clean and tidy and organized work environment
* Support families throughout the cremation process.
* Adhere to all workplace safety regulations.
* Qualifications and Desired Traits:
* Valid G class drivers license
* Strong communicator, detail-oriented, service-focused.
* Polite, professional, and works well with teams.
* Compassionate, organized, and takes pride in their work.
* Basic technological skills and willingness to learn.
* Comfortable leading witnessing's.
