Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeypersons, Apprentices and Labourers to join our commercial construction team. The ideal candidates will have experience in various aspects of construction, including glass and frame installation, problem solving, blueprint reading, layout, air seal and caulking. This role involves working on diverse projects that require technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work well on their own ar as part of a team. Leading Edge Glass and Aluminum Ltd provides high-quality installation on construction projects, ensuring safety and precision at every stage.
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform glazing tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project plans accurately
- Perform caulking, air vapour barrier installation, and the installation of commercial window frames and glass to meet project specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout all phases of construction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards
- Operate construction equipment as needed for various tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately (Journeypersons)
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements for construction sites
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced and inclusive environment
- Physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights as required
- Valid certification or license related to construction trades is preferred but not mandatory
- Prior experience with schematics reading is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour
