Role and Responsibilities
To assist the shipyard service operations by contributing to the productivity of the service team. Working under the management team, looking for a marine services technician. Contribute to completing the jobs on time, working to the best of their ability, and using time and equipment effectively. The goal is a high quality product under efficient timelines.
· Perform service, repair, construction, and/or installation on recreational and commercial vessels
· General maintenance and repair on marine engines and plumbing, navigational equipment, operating systems, pumps, steering mechanisms, etc.
· Run diagnostics and trouble-shoot engine and electrical problems
· Basic operations such as oil changes, tune-ups, part replacement, and plumbing
· Testing the performance of marine engines and electrical systems
· Maintain fiberglass, metal, painting, and woodwork as well as all other parts of the vessel
· Assist on other projects/jobs as required within the yard
Salary based on knowledge and experience.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Marine Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of marine systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $37,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
