We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying and installing pipes for various applications. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Lay and install pipes for storm or sanitation sewers, drains and water mains according to project specifications
- Connect pipes to sewer and water systems, manholes, and other structures as required.
- Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing
- Grading trenches and culverts, position pipe and seal joints
- Operate power tools for cutting, bending and threading pipes
- Assist with the operation of low voltage electrical systems related to pipeline installations
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Sewer and Waterman Pipe Layer in the construction industry a must!!!
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in sewer and water pipelaying
- Knowledge of pipe laying techniques, excavation, and grading
- Valid class 5 driver's license and provide a current 3 year driver's abstract
- Familiarity with power tools used in pipe installation
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce work of high-quality and accuracy
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
