Job Description
Under the direction of the Nursing Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for performing routine nursing duties as prescribed by the physician or head nurse. The LPN will assist with routine nursing duties, and perform routine nursing procedures as prescribed by the physician or head nurse. The LPN will assist in the performance of specialized nursing procedures as directed by the physician or head nurse. The LPN will perform all functions of the facility under direct supervision of the nursing manager and physician.
Duties include but are not limited to:
·Perform routine nursing duties as prescribed by the physician or head nurse.
·Assist with administering medications and treatments under direct supervision of physician.
·Assist with changing diapers and assisting with other aspects of care.
·Record all information on patient’s medical record accurately.
··Maintain inventory of supplies and medical equipment.
·Follow all safety rules and regulations established in connection with care provided.
·Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $34.04-$36.19 per hour
