The successful candidate will have a Master’s Degree in a relevant field, and is a certified Medical Laboratory Professional in good standing with the MLPAO (Medical Laboratory Professionals’ Association of Ontario) with two (2) years of experience within a Clinical Laboratory. A strong understanding of Laboratory and Research regulatory requirements is required. Experience in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and closing research studies and/or projects is a strong asset.
The successful candidate has excellent interpersonal and communication skills; works well in a busy environment; has strong organizational skills, possesses analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, and is able to exercise initiative and good judgment. The candidate is able to prioritize tasks to ensure reliable and prompt client care while achieving high work efficiency and meeting deadlines. The candidate has demonstrated computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and sound knowledge of the laboratory information system. The ability to work with clients of diverse cultural and social backgrounds is necessary. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
Salary Range: $37.51 – $50.60 per hour
