Excavator Operator
Total One Contracting is looking for an experienced and reliable Excavator Operator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have strong equipment operating skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a crew on a variety of construction and excavation projects.
Responsibilities:
· Safely operate excavators and other heavy equipment as required
· Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and material handling tasks
· Read and interpret site plans, drawings, and grade specifications
· Complete daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns
· Work closely with site supervisors, foremen, and crew members to complete projects efficiently
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
· Assist with general labour tasks when required
· Ensure equipment is operated responsibly to prevent damage or unnecessary wear
Qualifications:
· Previous experience operating excavators in a construction environment
· Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
· Knowledge of excavation, grading, and site preparation practices
· Ability to understand layouts, elevations, and site plans is an asset
· Valid driver’s license required
· WHMIS and safety training considered an asset
· Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Pay: $24.99-$32.00 per hour
