Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager/ Estimator, to lead our construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex building initiatives, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for construction management to our team.
Duties
- Coordinate subcontractors activities
- Evaluate daily operations
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Select trade subcontractors
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
- Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems
- Read blueprint, schemas and drawings
- Perform accurate field measurements, take detailed site photographs, and document existing material quantities for accurate takeoff generation
- Plan and manage budgets
- Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
- Prepare reports
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or project coordination
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost control measures.
- Hands-on experience with project scheduling tools like Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Two years Experience managing contracts and ensuring adherence to safety protocols on active construction sites.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
