Position Overview
The Smart Office & Building Retrofit Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic prospecting, relationship development, and closing commercial retrofit projects. This role focuses on upgrading existing office buildings, warehouses, retail spaces, and multi-tenant facilities with smart automation, access control, networking, surveillance, lighting control, and energy-efficient solutions.
This is a hunter + closer role with strong leadership and expansion potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a commercial sales strategy for smart building retrofits
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities (property managers, building owners, developers, GC’s)
- Conduct site assessments and collaborate with technical teams on solution design
- Present proposals and ROI-driven solutions to decision-makers
- Build long-term relationships with commercial clients
- Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets
- Maintain CRM pipeline and forecasting reports
- Stay current on smart building technology trends and market opportunities
- Represent the company at networking events and industry functions
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience (commercial construction, building automation, security, AV or networking preferred)
- Proven track record of closing mid-to-large commercial deals
- Strong understanding of commercial retrofit environments
- Ability to sell value, ROI, and long-term cost savings
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and performance-driven
- Experience working with property managers, facility directors, or developers is a major plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems

Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
