Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Insulation and Painting Technician to join our construction team. This role involves installing insulation materials and applying paint to various surfaces, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction-related tasks, with a focus on insulation and painting projects, and possess the ability to read blueprints and operate hand tools effectively.
Duties
- Install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, and floors according to project specifications
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or priming before painting or insulation application
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve smooth finishes
- Use caulking to seal gaps and joints for energy efficiency and aesthetic purposes
- Operate hand tools such as drills, saws, and trowels safely and efficiently
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, insulation installation, or painting preferred
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and the use of hand tools required
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings is a plus
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction work is essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
