Responsibilities
- Take and accurately process orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct transactions.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and safety.
- Engage with guests to provide friendly, attentive service that enhances their overall experience.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and organization.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including specials, ingredients, and food safety protocols to assist guests confidently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to POS procedures.
- Support catering, banquet events, or nightclub service as needed, demonstrating versatility across different service styles.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals.
- Experience working in nightclubs or catering environments is desirable but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant or retail setting within the food industry.
